BHMS will present its bachelor’s programs in hotel management, MBA and second higher education during the exhibition “Education Abroad” which will take place in Odessa, Kiev and Donetsk

Business Hotel Management School (Switzerland)

Business Hotel Management School (BHMS) is part of the Bénédict Switzerland Group, founded in 1972. The school is accredited by EduQua of Switzerland. EduQua is a Swiss mark of quality of educational institutions. BHMS (in collaboration with The Robert Gordon University) has developed one of the shortest courses for a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. Students can receive a bachelor’s degree in “Management in the hotel business” for 1.5 years of study plus 1.5 years of paid internship (average 3 years). In order to receive a similar diploma in another school of hotel management, you must study 24 months (theoretical course), as well as undergo an internship that lasts 12 months. The intensive BHMS program gives school graduates an advantage – they study the theory for 6 months less (therefore, save on tuition fees for 1 semester) and at the same time receive 6 months more paid internships in Switzerland. It is also important to note that the BHMS Institute has developed a unique teaching system, dividing the semester into 20 weeks into 4 study periods of 5 weeks each. This system allows students to focus on only 3-4 subjects during the period instead of studying 8-10 subjects in parallel, as is practiced in other schools. Thus, the student completes the semester by mastering 12-14 subjects without overload. Ukrainian graduates can enter BHMS if they are 17.5 years old at the time of study. Applicants must pass an official English exam or write a language test at the office of the educational agency “A-Priority” in Kiev. In addition, the entrant must provide a high school diploma. A special offer of the university is a flexible schedule of study. In particular, a student can start studying when it is convenient for him – in January, February, April, May, June, August, September or November. Students of this educational institution have the opportunity to receive a bachelor’s degree (duration of study – 3 years), get a second higher education, as well as an MBA diploma (duration of study – 1.5-2 years). For students with a low level of English, preparatory courses lasting up to 10 weeks are provided. The cost of such courses, including accommodation, meals and health insurance – 4750 euros. The cost of training at the BHMS Institute during the year is 20,000 euros. And although Swiss universities do not usually provide scholarships, talented BHMS students can receive a discount of 400 euros if they apply for training during the exhibition.
